My First Week As a Secondary One Pupil

During my first week in Secondary School, i was flabbergasted. My school was the leviathan of schools. It was so big, that i nearly got lost in it!

My form teacher spoke mostly Mandarin, so i was very disoriented as i did not understand everything he said. But after a few days of being disoriented , i started to get used to it. Meeting all my teachers was a fun experience. During the introduction phase, i learnt that my English teacher loved golf and i also knew a bit more about my new classmates.

After the first few days, i was just beginning to adjust to the new life as a secondary school student in Singapore. We had to elect a class committee! Most of the candidates just wanted to run for chairman, while the other ones went for the more attractive jobs like being the Treasurer.

The trials for my CCAs( Co-Curricular Activities) were very intensive and took a few days. But after that we managed, for at least most of us, to get into the CCA of our choice. I just realised recently that i was selected to enter the track and field team.

What are the more popular CCAs, i hear you say. Well, if you are in my school, it would be track and field. The school has 'pumped' alot of money into its development, and i am proud to be one of its beneficiaries.

Life has finally smoothened out for me. Hows yours?
